THIS IS
MY STORY,
MY LOVE
I'VE ALWAYS BEEN CAPTIVATED BY THE QUITE LANGUAGE OF NATURAL HOMES, THE WAY LIGHT FALLS ACROSS A SPACE, HOW TEXTURES SOFTEN OVERTIME, AND HOW COLOR CAN COMPLETELY SHIFT THE FEELING OF A ROOM

Hi, I’m Dagmar — the voice behind Linen & Wood Interior.
I’m a bubbly soul, drawn to soft moments and natural beauty. The kind you find in a quiet morning, a warm cup of coffee, or a long lunch that slowly turns into an afternoon filled with laughter.
I love connection, with friends close by, and with those scattered across the world. Some of my most treasured moments are the simple ones: sitting together, talking, sharing life. And sometimes… boarding a plane to the other side of the world to do exactly that with my best friend in the United States.
With a background in photography and years of running my own photography business, I’ve developed a trained eye for light, composition, and detail.
I naturally see the world through a lens — and this deeply shapes how I approach interior styling.
I notice how light enters a room, how textures interact, and how small details can completely shift the feeling of a space.
This way of seeing is at the heart of everything I create.
Travel has always been an important source of inspiration in my life.
Together with my husband of over 38 years, I love exploring places like Italy, France, and Spain, slowly taking in the atmosphere, textures, and colours.
We also lived in Sydney, Australia, a time that has deeply shaped my aesthetic. The soft coastal light, sun-washed tones, and natural materials I experienced there continue to influence my work today.
That Australian sense of ease and connection to nature still lives on in the interiors I create.
Family and connection are central to who I am.
We’ve raised two wonderful sons, and I deeply value time spent together, whether at home or during our travels.
My personal style reflects this same simplicity: effortless, comfortable, and close to nature. Often faded jeans, sneakers, and a soft white linen shirt.
My freckles and once red hair, now softened into grey and white strands, carry the marks of sunlight, time, and a life lived outdoors.
Through my blog and styling work, I share interior ideas, moodboards, and inspiration to help you create a home that feels calm, natural, and truly yours.
With love
Dagmar X
